We’re committed the worldwide task of disciple-making, and desire that each member get involved through praying, giving, and going.
Sending Short-Term
Parkside works through on-the-field partners and local churches to send short-term mission trips around the world.
Our trips are coordinated with these partners to ensure our efforts are church-centered, discipleship-focused, and facilitate the greater mission vision in the places and among the peoples we're called to serve.
Sending Long-Term
Parkside walks alongside those called to long-term overseas work, helping them discern their call to go and which pathway best aligns with that calling.
We work with likeminded missions-sending organizations and overseas partners to participate in pioneering evangelism, church planting, and church strengthening with an emphasis on healthy discipleship and long-term strategy.
Fueling the Mission
How your giving supports the spread of the gospel
Hudson Taylor, a pioneer missionary to China, once said regarding God's provision: "God's work done God's way will never lack God's supply." God gives his people financial resources for the sake of his glory and invites us to transform earthly wealth into kingdom wealth through sacrificial giving to support the spread of the gospel to all nations. We trust that God will provide all the necessary funding for our mission work through the generous giving of his people.
While long-term work is most frequently supported through partner organizations, Parkside's Great Commission Fund is used to directly support short-term great commission efforts, including mission trips. These dollars allow us to cover trip expenses and ensure all needs are met, and team members personally contribute and raise support to replenish the fund.

This team will work with on-the-field partners to encourage the local church and make meaningful connections with the community.
Requirements
In addition to a 36 hour total travel time, team members must be able to walk up to 4 miles per day, endure high temperatures and humidity, be willing to try new foods, and initiate/engage in spiritual conversations.

Taichung, Taiwan

This team will participate in a youth summer camp hosted by our partner church serving missionary, expatriate, and local community middle school and high school students.
Requirements
Team members must be able to walk long distances, climb steps, and endure very high temperatures and humidity outdoors. Must also enjoy working with children & youth.

This team will encourage local churches and leaders, seek to evangelize the lost, advertise for a new ESL initiative, and form connections with college students and other locals.
Requirements
Team members must be able to walk long distances in a large urban city and be willing to initiate conversations. Team size is limited to 4-6 with a preference for young professionals under the age of 40.

This team will visit multiple college campuses and use English to build friendships, share our faith, and invite students to a gospel event at our partner church.
Requirements
Team members must be able to walk long distances and endure high temperatures and humidity with limited AC indoors. Must also be able to climb steps.
